Frequently Asked Questions

Connection Clubs are weekly, one-hour online group coaching sessions involving approximately 4-6 participants. We cover a range of independent living and social skills with a strong emphasis on the development of the self: self-determination, self-reliance, self-confidence, self-actualization, etc. Connection Clubs provide the environment to create friendships, share common goals and challenges, and build a positive support team for navigating life.

We specialize in coaching young adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the transitional phase of life that follows public education, but also those interested in personal growth at any stage in life. We strive to create the right fit for every motivated participant.

We take a whole-person approach to building independence and social connection, and we do it in a supported team atmosphere. Our coaches have extensive backgrounds in the disability field and share the vision and determination to provide services with an authentic, out-of-the box approach. We believe in what we do and we have fun doing it.

This is not a barrier-it is a reason to join! Connection Clubs help participants find and develop their confidence and understand the importance of using their voice in all aspects of life.

We encourage participants to make self-directed choices with the support of family members, advocates, and/or legal guardians. Please note that coaching services are intended for the individual participant.
